Dr. Zeenat Patel is a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), who has been serving the Fredericksburg area since 2005. After attending The George Washington University for her undergraduate degree, she graduated from the University of Sint Eustatius Medical School. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and then moved back to the East Coast to start working in private practice. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Patel is extensively trained in minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, and in office procedures. She is the only female surgeon in the Fredericksburg area using the DaVinci robot for hysterectomy surgeries. She performs endometrial ablations. In her office practice she takes a special interest in adolescent and teen female health, general gynecology including abnormal bleeding, contraception, well women check ups, and abnormal pap smears.
She is happily married and lives in the Fredericksburg area with her husband, son, and daughter.

She takes the time to explain each and every step of your visit to make you feel comfortable as possible. For me it’s a struggle to go a gynecologist. Even in my 60’s I struggle. After checking in, Inwas called back within 5 minutes. The front desk was very helping and friendly during scheduling. I can’t remember the name of my tech but she was great and very personal. I was nervous to see a nurse practitioner over Dr. Patel but I am so happy with my decision. Jennifer Dennison was AMAZING! I’ve never had such a painless annual exam before. She also took the time to hear my concerns and I didn’t feel rushed or like my opinion didn’t matter and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend scheduling an appointment here!

The staff is very professional, yet they are very friendly. You're very comfortable at this office and they are very caring. The staff is so great, it's like family. The dr is amazing. You are NEVER uncomfortable. Never go anywhere else!!!! Love them all. I love them so much I travel from the Winchester Va area to see them. Well worth it!!!
