Jennifer Dennison, WHNP, BC
Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
A native of Wisconsin, Jennifer Dennison is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) that has proudly joined the Elite team in the Summer of 2024. While serving as an enlisted sailor in the U.S. Navy, Jennifer was selected by the Navy to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida State University, also receiving her commission as a Naval Officer. Jen served in a variety of roles as a Navy Nurse in San Diego, CA, Pensacola, FL, and Portsmouth, VA. This is where Jen cultivated her love for Women’s Healthcare, working primarily in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum departments and earning the distinction of certified Inpatient Obstetrics RN.
After 18 years as a nurse and desiring to broaden her focus on serving women of all ages and stages, Jen completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. She is a lifelong learner and while passionately seeking to care and share her wealth of knowledge and experience, she served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, teaching undergraduate nursing students at George Mason University.
Jennifer loves being a Women’s Health NP, as it blends her love for educating and caring for women, helping them to be the healthiest version of themselves. Her goal is to empower them to seek care through shared decision making with a provider who sees and hears them, a provider who wants to help them to be more comfortable through challenging or uncertain times of their life. She is passionate about providing early prevention and screening, holistic care, and, when necessary, the most appropriate medical interventions to all her patients.
Jen is married to her husband of 18 years, Ryan, a Navy shipmate, and they have four beautiful and loving children. A few fun facts about Jen – she loves to read, bake with her kids, listen to music, experience life with her family, and is a partial owner of the Green Bay Packers!
